The New Rights Canada Catalogue and IPR License
The 2017-2018 Rights Canada catalogue features a total of 286 titles from 104 publishers and will benefit from visibility at major international book fairs and other events, as well as through our partnership with IPR License.
In addition to being promoted through our comprehensive social media campaign, the titles in Rights Canada 2017-2018 will be featured on the IPR License platform until July 2018. Publishers will have the opportunity to feature in various marketing initiatives including E-Bulletins, digital and print magazines, on the IPR blog, and in social media.
Established in 2012, IPR License is a fully transactional rights and licensing marketplace. Rights listings on the IPR platform have been viewed by rights buyers in 185 countries across 161 languages. IPR License is a platform and marketplace for publishers to connect with others from around the world, and to facilitate the online completion of rights and permissions transactions.
This partnership with IPR License is free of charge for publishers who submitted titles to the Rights Canada catalogue and without obligation.
You will soon be able to log onto this platform and update the information on your titles at any time.
A series of two introductory webinars will take place in the coming weeks. For those unable to attend at these dates, webinars will be available for download at your convenience.
